Hello, my name is Donna Brown, I am a certified school counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (Lic #88128). I am licensed in the state of Texas to provide mental health and wellness services. I am from Louisiana but have lived in Texas for most of my adult life. I graduated from Southern University in New Orleans with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, earned a Master’s in Counseling Education from Texas Southern University. With over twenty-five years experience in social services, education, counseling as a related service (SpEd Dept), school counseling, and mental health services, I love being of service to others on their journey to wellness. I work in tele-health making therapy accessible to all people. I utilize various therapy approaches, including wellness techniques to assist clients in reaching their goal of overall mental health and wellness. I am a facilitator in the journey of mental health, self-healing, and self-empowerment. I am an advocate of self-love and self-knowledge. Together, we will examine and address the thoughts, actions, and experiences that are causing feelings of being unwell. It is my belief, mental health and wellness begins with knowing your true self.
